16WhiteColly. Sounds like a bad sensor, a thermostat would usually not stick and free up like that repeatedly. Your thermostat is at least a 195 if not 203, so it will run near the high side of the guage, use your scan tool to compare the guage reading to the actual reading. Out of temp. reading will shut the A/C down.

The signal for the fuel gauge goes from the PCM, to the BCM, and to the IPC, using the Serial Data Bus. If there was a problem with that, it would most likely affect other gauges/indicators in the IPC. Maybe a bad sending unit. Possible that when you were unplugging it/plugging it in, you pushed one of the wires out and now the female pin isn't making contact with the male pin.
