Asura if you want the most stocked AH and the ability to do things with random people and not just a linkshell. Literally any other server is better for anything else. Something to keep in mind, FFXI is nothing like FFXIV or WoW. It's more like Everquest. The biggest server by a huge margin is Asura.
Kujata is the 'overflow' server for those who can't/won't get into Tonberry.
