How to bypass fuel shut off solenoid.
Mar 13, 2017 · Well, the new solenoid died on me after only 3 weeks. This time the vehicle will not start unless I open the fuel shutoff with my finger first and it turns off no problem. I see no big deal that the original 16-year-old solenoid died, but not the original and 2 new solenoids since January. I’m trying to figure out what is happening.

The ignition wire is now connected directly to the fuel cut off solenoid. You cannot access this with the Immobilizer in place, as it is built like a little "safe" around the solenoid.
