The Lethal Company Pinger mod essentially allows you to ping locations and flag them to teammates. This is a two-ping system that can be used to signify any loot of interest or any imminent danger. The game should keep the backup worlds and characters, but if you want you can still make backups of them then "Repair" the game so it pretty much reinstalls it blank.
