A lot of reviews I've found about the Ideapad Flex 2-in-1 laptops from 2020-2021 mention that the screen hinges fail within a few months to 1 year, often resulting in the screen cracking. Also apparently it's not covered under warranty. The hinge assembly pierced right through the screen during normal open/close usage (rarely used because it sat on a desk all the time). Just last night, the very same thing, hinge came through the screen. This on a unit that literally sits open on a table 99% of the time, rarely closed. My yoga 7i hinge broke today.

Legion 5 is great hardware wise but Lenovo has been known to have issues with their hinges. My Y50-70 had the hinge snap after a few weeks and they denied warranty. I had to buy accidental insurance for them to take it. Literally sat on my desk and lid gets closed after use and opened the next day. Never again.
