Recently recieved my 1897 Marlin 22 back from the gunsmith , had it relined and a new 39 bolt and firing pin from Dick's Gun shop also. After 20 rounds fired it wouldn't extract. It works perfectly, the only modification was to open the cartridge loading slot on the magazine tube a wee bit to clear the slightly larger diameter.
