I don't think the lines are getting lighter. 15 and 16dpo look pretty similar to each other and all the others show clear progression. There's variation in the amount of dye in pregnancy tests and the concentration of HCG in different urine samples, even from the same woman. Getting a lighter test is not a great sign (it can be a sign of a chemical pregnancy). However, if it's just one or two tests, it can also just be that you had a lot of water, did it pretty recently after peeing, etc.
