The reason i recommend these is because Awoo, clones & goldleaf don't have support for the sparce file format which some games use. As already stated, programs with signature checks will help make sure games are not modified. You can also check them manually on pc with nsc builder. And nsp and xci have absolutely no difference towards bans.Maybe in the late future Skyline will let you add dlcs/updates to a game. Its dobale. Just ask in skylines server and they will help. Its quite commonly asked actually and ive seen ppl make it work on termux even. Though only updates work for now. Theres a script ppl use in the server. There are also Custom XCIs where the .XCI file includes ALL updates and ALL DLCs for the game. Just install the nsp's and it will automatically see the xci and be in use for that. If you have a 1.0 Super Mario Odyssey xci for example, just install the nsp update for the same region as the game (if it's region free, it won't matter). Same for DLC.

I am stuck using lots of XCI files that define IP cores for Xilinx. Often I need to edit those files outside the context of a project. When I was using *****, there is a command provided called "qsys-edit" that allows any QSYS file (the ***** equivalent of an XCI file) to be edited correctly without needing the full context of a ***** project.

I already tried putting all of the .xc0 .xc1, etc files in a single folder per game, naming the folder game.xci, and setting the folder to Archive. When using Awoo Installer, any time I navigate to this folder it just kicks me back to the main menu.
