3 posts · Joined 2019. #1 · Oct 5, 2019. 2013 Dodge Durango crew v6 rear drive. The truck randomly doesn’t start. No crank remote start doesn’t work either. Always starts first but won’t come back on after you turn off at gas station or after short drive. Brake is sort of hard can’t press through. No failure messages.I purchased a 2011 Dodge Durango Crew in March of this year 64000 miles. By July 66000 miles we were having issues with it not starting. You could go through a couple of starting cycles and it would finally start. Please disregard what I wrote above. I will say that before my TIPM was replaced I could pull the blower motor relay and it would start functioning again. We took it into the dealer when it was under the bumper to bumper 36k warranty they said it was to do with the security system and key fobs. If your starter clicks, jump it first. Usually the problem will start with a low (possibly getting bad) battery. If that is no help, then have the alternator tested. Probably a bad wiper motor. You would need to check for power at the motor. If it has no power then you have to trace back to at least the switch at the column if there isn't a control module in between. Others with service manuals might have more info for you.
