Ultrawide Fallout 76 is an interface fix mod for the terrible integration of ultrawide support in Fallout 76. These take a long time to make and are not full perfect as is. My aim is to fix the large majority of menus overtime, the majority of the menus look great now on both 21:9 and 32:9, its literally just small bits and pieces left to fix.

I use comprehensive ultrawide mod with the necessary ini changes. Though I do believe CUW has been removed or hidden now. And I haven't tried any other solutions myself, but I can't imagine they're much different. Apparently the variable fDefaultFoV= controls the distance of the power armor UI display. I had it mirroring my main FoVs (1st/3rd person), which was 100. All you have to do is: Go to your Windows/User/yourusername/Documents/My Games/Fallout4/. In there is a file called Fallout4Prefs, open it up and add this right under the first tag called [Display]: iSize W=3440. iSize H=1440. Replace 3440 and 1440 if you have a different resolution (like 2560x1080).
