Ffxiv audio cuts out.

Installing on SSD, both speakers and headset have the issue, changing speaker configuration in the settings, and attempting a repair of the files all have failed so far. Had the same issue, it's an audio setting that's doing it. They have the audio defaulted to something like studio calibrated speakers or something.In the main menu, the audio cuts out intermittently. When I load into practice, my audio cuts on entirely, not just in the finals. I have to quit out and restart my interface to get audio back. Remove all filtering and drop your quality settings down to something normal. Start with CD quality and move upwards. Also, crackling is more often than not a cable or a connector on audio gear. This is something fucky with your audio setup not anything to do with the game. Check for hardware related issues. Could be shielding problems with audio cables, or the pc hardware itself. I've had that issue with connecting headphones directly to the motherboard via audio-out port in the back of a pc.

Resetting the capturecard to default settings makes the audio come back but it cuts out if the audio gets too much, which obviously isn't great for gaming. I usually use it plugged into a ps4 and a TV screen, and this screen is smaller than I have previously used, but i had this issue on the bigger screen before as well.
