Evidently I did it too early; 15min after finishing the exam, I got the email saying thanks for taking the exam, now you have to wait for your results or pay $7.95 im 48hrs for early ...BUT, the NCLEX does cut off at the minimum of 85 under two circumstances-either the test-taker has answered at least 95% of the questions correctly or 95% of the questions incorrectly... Try to stay calm (easier said that done, I know) as you wait for the official results.

The same holds true with trying to guess whether you've passed NCLEX based on the number of questions you received. In other words, if the computer shuts off at 85 questions, the only thing that means was that the computer had a high enough confidence to determine that you either passed or failed at that point.
