First, I apologize for a long post, go to the last paragraph for what fixed my start/stop issue. 3 weeks ago, I started having start/stop issues with my 2017.5 Compass Trailhawk. I was getting the "A" alert on my dash and the start stop not operational message.The size of the Aux battery is insufficient to provide cranking current to the starter motor anyway. It only is there to keep systems alive when the alternator is not producing anything. Consider what happens to the systems when the Aux battery fails to keep the main computer happy.
