GT7 is definitely in the top ten best Gran Turismo games of all time. Of all the gran Turismo games, it is definitely one of them! I can certainly say that GT7 scored metacritic points. In fact more than one. Of all the games in the history of gran Turismo, it is defininitely one of them!

GT4*, easy to confuse the two. I completely and totally agree though, I started with Gran Turismo 2 and was hooked from the start as a kid. The concept of starting off with a cheap, shitty car and actually being able to build your funds, customize it extensively, and even turn a trashy car into a well-tuned sleeper.

In 6, they got rid of that, you had to do the races and get a certain amount of stars. When you got the right amount of stars, you were allowed to do the license tests.
