Toyota rav4 not starting no crank.

The battery, alternator, starter, start relay, ignition and all fuses or relays are all fine and work. When I turn the key all the electronics work but it doesn't crank or even make a sound. Recently, lifting and lowering the pump allowed the engine to run. To me these symptoms point to rust in the fuel tank being a leading candidate for the cause of the problem here. The rust may have fouled your new fuel pump and/or regulator as well. There's another fuel filter in the tank that should probably be replaced.Ok so, New Used engine has been installed. 1st the engine cranks but there is no spark. -Camshaft sensor is OK. -Spark Plugs are OK. -Ignition coils do work [I have 8 in total from both engines and there's no way all 8 failed at once] and have 12v. all signs point the crankshaft sensor or ECM. The Rav4 computer only lets the oxygen sensor play a role after the engine is at normal operating temperature. A bad oxygen sensor should not cause a no spark situation.

Aug 23, 2020 · You need to figure out if it is a fuel problem, spark problem, or something else. Could be a weak or bad fuel pump. Or, as Dr. Dyno mentioned, it could simply be a blown fuse. Check both fuse boxes under the hood, and the one under the dash, and don't rely on visual inspection.

Ever since the Rav4 randomly wont start. Today it would crank, start to run then shut off and in the past couple weeks would just occasionally not start. Today even with a jump pack attached it would shut off after running for a few seconds.
