Driving on a highway, car abruptly went into limp mode, had to cruise to a stop, and would not accelerate. Numerous dash lights illuminated. Shut car off and restarted… car was back to normal. Entertainment system screen showed a warning “a possible condition with your Engine Control System has been detected…”.
I had a BMW before this GT and when it went into limp mode it was scary but f not outright dangerous. One time it was the electrical water pump.
