Now I cannot reset the ECU at all, it is STUCK in limp mode. Perhaps there is another reset procedure I am unaware of... P.S. So far I have taken out the throttle body and cleaned/replaced, as well as replacing the MAP sensor on the intake manifold, all to no avail. I do have the throttle body coming soon from Amazon.

In the throttle body installation instructions for 2020 there's no mention of that. If you removed the intake manifold to replace the spark plugs I'd be more focussed on the manifold gaskets and vacuum line connections based on the surging rpms you're experiencing.
