A better fix might be to turn the pinion up towards the transfer case anyway, if you have driveline problems after removing the shims on the skid plate.

That transducer will convert the movements of the steering wheel into an electrical signal you can run wires to a rack that came from a car that had drive by wire. proper wiring of alternator. I have 79 cj7 304. Re-wired my alternator to be a one wire but can seem to charge below 2000rpm. This is what I have done. Connected red wire to red wire going to starter solenoid on battery positive side. The alternator is a brand new and so is the wiring harness going into the back/side of the alternator.
A code P0340 could mean one or more of the following has happened: a wire or connector in the circuit could be grounded/shorted/broken. the camshaft position sensor may have failed. the PCM may have failed. there exists an open circuit. a crankshaft position sensor may have failed. With a P0340 Code diagnosis can be tricky at times.
