It does crazy damage, was able to fit EE2 and Ballistics, it's super safe with EE and distance from monster.It depends on the type of ammo you wanna use. You pretty much always want free element/ammo up on all bow gun builds. Other than that try to get spare shot and then buff up the ammo type ur using (e.g. normal ammo up or boosting your specific element) But yeah lbg was kind of shafted in high rank and is pretty hard to make effective.Elemental Reload is a good option on elemental builds, but since you need different sets and weapons for each element, and realistically at least four elements to be able to hunt any target effectively, not really going to fill your need for a comfy LBG build. Slicing is stupid strong atm. Get Zinogre's LBG, then stack affinity skills and crit boost. Get spare shot of course, you only get 60 shots with crafts. Versus monsters with heads or other parts very weak to cutting (55+ or 15+ above shot), this set up will easily sub 5 with a little practice (Got the new "hidden" monster in 4:30 with it).
