So, I just finished playthrough 2 as Lilith. There are a couple good guides on the gearbox forums for Lilith. Older guide that I personally prefer. Newer guide that is a little more in-depth on some subjects. Basically your best bet is to take skills from all 3 trees and mix and match them to your playstyle.

However, the Double Stinger can't be overlooked either, as it gives you insane fire rate as well as accuracy, making it a good ranged weapon while still getting her SMG bonus. Hyperion Crimson Stinger is probably my favorite.
