Make a money lei with ribbon.
Wili leis involve twisting or winding flowers and leaves together to form a lei. Take a long, flexible vine or strand of foliage and wrap it around a central flower or seed to anchor it. Continue adding flowers and foliage, twisting and weaving them together to build the lei. This is the HIlo Style demonstration below.
Thread a piece of ribbon through each straw, fold it over by an inch or two, and tape it down. Binder clip or clothespin the opposite ends of the ribbon together about 10-12" away from the end.
