I've decided to go tonfa for my first run through but can't seem to find a good secondary weapon whose stats synergize well together.The easiest weapon to use, IMO, without taking from the game's difficulty, is the Katana. The spear is nice and it is my second main weapon but the Katana is versatile as fuck. Tonfa would be great because their speed but short range perfectly compliment the Odachi's slow but high range style. Also the dexterity scaling on Tonfas is utter shit so you could probably focus on the other 2 stats and Strength (for the Odachi) instead. Dual swords also work great with Odachi, that's what I ran for like 200 hours.
