It's definitely a job, where you're going to learn a lot, but it has some major downsides. Personally at my store, the main issue for 99% of employees is management.You have to sell over $20,000 of merchandise, battle returns, battle the boatload of other salespeople, all in about 10 days. If you sell $50,000 in 10 days, but get $45,000 in returns, Nordstrom will tell you that you need to sell more or you'll be fired.
