Honestly, I barely notice the extra damage taken with Radagon's Soreseal. I use it for bosses mostly. And since bosses can 2-3 shot you, having more offense and attributes is more beneficial than trying to beef up defense. Radagons soreseal is great, Marikas scarseal is a bit more eh, and I say that as an int character.
