well i guess ill throw my 2 cents in as someone with mechanical experience with the engines. There are a slew of complaints about the european MX engines having problems having high oil consumption this was an issue with the rings being exposed to too much combustion pressure and carbon build up on the pistons scoring the walls.

When the engine is cole it is usually from 40 to 80, 80 being the truck just started and has sat over night. While truck is moving it is ok but while idling it is bad.
