Previous cars that I've driven have had this feature, wherein for example: - Doors automatically lock when traveling at > 9 mph. - Doors automatically unlock when the vehicle is shifted from "Drive" to "Park".

They had clamp problems where the hoses meet the metal causing. fuel leaks and gasoline odors in the cockpit if there was a drastic temperature change.

I'm looking at aftermarket wheels. Yes, already. I know the wheel size and bolt pattern, and know the OEM wheels have a 48mm (1.89-inch) offset. The first-generation Subaru XV Crosstrek (2013-2017) has a stock wheel+tire diameter of 26.7” with a 225/55R17 tire. You can safely run up to a maximum of 27.7” without a lift or modifications, which is a 225/60R17 tire.
