I had this issue in ArkOS after connecting bluetooth earbuds. I could reconnect the earbuds, and the audio would work on them, but when disconnected, I couldn't get the speakers to work. I tried L3 + R3, but that didn't seem to work. In the end what fixed it was to ssh into the rgb30, and run the following commands:

RGB30 mods. Thank you so much to ArkOS folks and the wiki info for adding support for a rumble motor on the the RGB30! After following the ArkOS wiki instructions, I fired up GBA game Drill Dozer. Pressed "select" + "x" -> "Core Options" -> "Input & Auxiliary Devices" -> "Game Boy Player Rumble" turn on and restarted the game. Good times followed. JELOS is now longer being developed. A core group of JELOS contributors has decided to rebrand and start fresh as ROCKNIX. In-game Retroarch menu sometimes gets stuck for a minute or two, need to wait for it to unstuck. Other than that not much difference.

I added a game I made into the carts folder, and I can play it from ArkOS, great. However, I can't tell if I'm running PICO-8 natively, or if it's fake-8? can't find anything in the menus.It's simply more user-friendly. ArkOS is less pretty and less fun. But it can do some things that JELOS can't. For example, it supports rumble with the RGB30, while (as far as I know) JELOS still doesn't support. Some users swear they've had better performance in ArkOS with some emulators, as well.
Rgb30 is just a unique case with a higher resolution screen than most non-widescreen handhelds (including the 2S), a slightly larger screen than most of them since many are 3.5in while this one is 4 inch, and the 1:1 aspect ratio ends up being a great all around fit for the majority of older consoles especially handhelds like gameboy/color/ngpc.

They’re all good choices probably. I’d recommend the RGB30 only because it’ll run ARKOS, which is way farther in development than anything available for those anbernic devices. Just tons more features and ports. But I’m sure onion is will continue to improve. The retroid pocket 2s is probably comparable to the Rgb30 and H in portability.
