I went to the dealer and bought 4 qts of honda trans fluid at a cost of $35.00 for my 6spd automatic, apparently the 9spd is 80.00 per quart. It took me 1/2 hour to drain and fill with 3.3 qts.The transmission fluid is the transfer case fluid. When you drain the tranny fluid, you'll be, in essence, changing the transfer case fluid as well. Only 2006+ models had a separate transfer case that needed its fluid drained and filled separately from the tranny fluid.
