Staccato XC with Atlas flat face medium with bow. Love Atlas triggers, put them in most of my 1911/2011's. Coming in just shy of 2lbs depending on the scale. Compared to the OEM trigger, I feel like I shoot so much better with these. Maybe not faster but more accurately. Just puts my finger in a much better spot.

It comes down to what you want to do, The XC is a nice range toy, you cant really compete with it in a comp though, it put you in the open class and you are up against true open guns. You can do it, you are just gonna be out gunned. The P allows you to do much more if you are into the competition side of things. The Staccato 2011s have a number of models, including a concealed carry model, full size model, and what we're going to talk about today, the Staccato P. Most people don't realize that there is a pretty big difference between a 2011 and a 1911, and we did a quick article on it.2011/1911 maintenance is required because of the tighter fit and finish of the frame, slide, and barrel than a Glock or S&W. The maintenance is really just regular cleaning (500-600 rounds or so) and lots of oil. "Think of an engine cylinder tolerance vs the piston" is the best description I have heard.The P is going to be much more shootable than almost anything else out there. A 9mm 2011 is already on the low end of recoil. I would go with the P. The optics ready slide and flush fit compensator look really cool on the XC, but $3600 seems a bit steep for that.The staccato stuff is as good as anything else as far as the quality of the parts. Staccato internals are all wire edm cut from billet and dlc coated. A good gunsmith can do the same stuff with the factory parts that they can with good aftermarket parts. That being said if you like the looks or just want to do it EGW stuff is top notch.

While you may not be super familiar with the Staccato name, you may be more familiar with their former name — STI Firearms.

Both are accurate, the CZ recoils less because of its heavier weight. The CZ has an enormous aftermarket as it's extremely popular in competition such as USPSA production class, there is also an optics-ready version. Staccato has more cool factor, SAO so the trigger pull is the same every time vs the DA/SA of the CZ.

Semi-fluted barrel, aluminum trigger, grip is not that much wider than the C. This is all proprietary to the CS, can't swap trigger, grip, to other staccatos.
