Like. Carbine w 22 " barrel. Unless U just gotta have a guide gun. I have both & the fit & finish on the 1987 Marlin 45/70 makes my jm stamped 2006 Marlin look bad in comparison. I like the 300 grain jacketed hollow points for hunting. These have some punch reloaded with Hodgdon 322 powder.
