Have spark but still will not start. 2000 warrior that I replaced both the stator and cdi to get spark and all seems good in the spark department now. I bought it used from a guy who had just replaced the cylinder base gasket and it had not run since. Valve clearances seem right.

Engine No. KH1KX2500E20170. yes i have bolted the 87 kx 250 cylinder on the tecate lowerend, and it is a direct bolt on. there is nothing you have to do differently to make it work. hook up the powervalve the same and let it rip. you will notice a little more snap over the stock tecate cylinder as the powervalves breathe better and the port timing is slightly different.
