Aug 16, 2023 · Hardware Unboxed fired back on Twitter, but Gamers Nexus chose a different approach and recently released a 45-minute video pointing out flaws in the Linus Tech Tips' hardware review process. Right now, if a response from Linus would add value or context to the discussion he should post it, but his responses so far have been weak, milquetoast, dodgy, and lots of things other than "helpful." If anything, Linus bringing it up is only muddying the issue.

I don't watch Gamers Nexus, but I wouldn't stop watching them just because they posted a video about their testing equipment. I do however thing that in the case of Linus he comes across as someone trying to compensate. The reasons why are more nuanced than just "post video = bad. Not post video = good".
We need more than just an official response from him about this. The callous disregard and disrespect that Linus and LMG showed by doing this is a betrayal of everything they purported to stand for up to this point and Linus needs to make it right.
