Starting Friday, May 26, UnityPoint Health – Meriter has updated visitor guidelines. Moving forward, UnityPoint Health - Meriter visitor guidelines will generally be updated to allow two visitors at a time and children will be welcome, with the exception of 1 visitor allowed for COVID-19 positive or Emergency Department adult patients. Visitors 2 years and older will be provided a KN95 mask. Visitors will be informed that the patient has a contagious illness and that choosing to visit puts the visitor at risk for infection.
