I'm going to be taking my ABIM this month and have been dedicated studying since early July. I did MKSAP on and off throughout my residency. I finished my first pass of UWORLD recently with percentages in the low 50s.I failed the boards by 7 points--got a 363 and passing score is 370. The way I calculate, I unfortunately was 2-3 questions away from passing. My sore luck. The ABIM score report states the scores are computed and likely not a mistake in calculating the score. I can't say I was keeping too close of track of my %correct when doing MKSAP...but I'd say between 80 and 90% correct on MKSAP and 94% (99th) on the real deal. The important thing is just to know that MKSAP is great preperation for the shelf. good luck.
