May 14, 2014 · The Classic PTR91k is a 16" carbine, using the "mil-spec" barrels. Overall the fit and finish is outstanding. The receiver is a graphite finish, and the wood does not closely match in color. This is no biggie for me. The welding is top notch, the assembly of the rifle is noticeably superior to most military issue models.

Im looking for a traditional looking bipod that will work with a wood HK G3 handguard on a PTR 91. Something like this but works with the wood handguard. I cant figure out if one exists. It looks like I might be able to mount a FAL bipod to the barrel. The handguard had been opened up in the front to fit over the heavy barrel used on PTRs. One could see the grind marks inside the handguard. Later I bought a brand new slim handguard and another wide one.
