Admission to the Honors Program. A student and their faculty research mentor must apply together for admission to the program; this includes an application and research proposal. Students are encouraged to apply the semester before their final year at the university (i.e., the end of their Junior year) to begin the Fall term of their Senior year.
Any LSA Data Science student with a current grade point average of at least 3.4 may apply for admission to the LSA Data Science Honors major program. Such application is made through a Statistics Department undergraduate advisor.
