The Ruger & Browning are very accurate & there's no need to remove the barrel to clean them.

I have seen good reviews on the Victory, and wont compare the m&p`s as these are not heavy target guns anyway.

But, the whole reason I want the Victory is that I always wanted a Ruger MK. I've stayed away until now because the cleaning issue and the price premium. The answer to that was the victory until I saw the MK IV at a good price. Now the real question, is there still a reason to buy the Victory over the MK IV. I'm not sure that's true. The Ruger Mark IV has 8 models currently in production. The Browning Buck Mark has 38. Revision: I went back to Ruger's website and apparently didn't drill down far enough the first time. They have many more iterations of each model. Ruger has a safety recall on the MKIV, S&W had issues with the takedown screw coming loose. Both issues have been resolved.
