The Scorpion has amazing ergos, add to that they take a lot of the features of an MP5 and modernize it. The Scorpion honestly reminds me of what a modernized MP5 would look like if HK decided to re-design it.

With a quick google, the scorpion bolt whole assy is 1.42 pounds. Figure maybe 1.2pounds for the bolt itself. From what I can find, the M-11 bolt is only around 14oz and originally designed for open bolt which allows for slightly less weight since the bolts mass is still moving forward as the round fires and starts to recoil.

The 3+ can come in micro as well. The 3+ itself moved some of the controls around and changed how the magazines lock in, requiring updated magazines to use...really just an extra cut/slot in the mag.
