I struggle to get more then 15-15.5 mpg in this truck and its driving me nuts. Dash MPG's aren't even remotely close except for the 400+ mile range which is about 1 mpg high.

Yea, it is generally 1 turn to 1 1/2 turn after the filter makes contact with the housing (depending on the filter). If it is that tight on there, be prepared for a fight to the death with that filter that is on there. You may need a strap wrench, or a metal band oil filter wrench, or even large oil filter pliers.

Not a single issue until 4/04/2021. 7812 miles, had been driven 150 that day, 20 miles from home, check engine light, derate & shut-down in seconds. Lotsa white smoke. Dealer replaced fuel pump, still no start, no fuel pressure, lift pump working perfectly. Maybe $77,000 isn't enough to get one to 10,000 miles.
