I ordered a 512 GB Steam Deck on the 11th, and was told by FedEx it’d deliver on the 15th or 16th, with the 19th being the absolute latest. It never did, with them constantly putting it on a truck for delivery, without that truck actually delivering it to my house, and in one instance reporting that it attempted to delivery despite it not being true …Today I just received my new Steam Deck via the RMA process. Be sure to communicate with the team via the support page. You should be ok because I was sent a brand new Steam Deck with a new cable. I truly think you'll be fine. On a side note Fedex is terrible. Its hard to notice because they still drive fedex trucks and wear fedex uniforms but if you look on the truck it should have something like JR's trucking or XPV delviery.

My steam deck was initially estimated to arrive 7/7/22 (tomorrow), but it got updated to arrive 7/6/22 (today). It didn't arrive today, and now is updated to 7/8/22 (Friday). I think I figured out why. They went in the wrong direction haha. It started in near Chicago, and is now in MO (I live on the east coast). Seriously, FedEx is not very good.

There are steam decks that shipped through UPS. Im already more comforted by UPS. They use UPS for RMAs but initial shipments are with FedEx. I am a UPS worker that work in Chicago which is 40mins to 1hr away from Carol Steams. But I wanted to post something interesting that I Had noticed.

Just gotta have your tracking number & a ID to receive it, and the location you pick can hold it for 7 days. just go to FedEx's website for instructions. What you do is, once you get a tracking number, you can go to their site and change the shipping stuff. The only number that would be unique to OP's individual Steam Deck is MAC address but those are a) not guaranteed to be unique b) easily changed.
